Official Contest Rules
How To Enter:
Every time you purchase two (2) or more of any participating “Doll & Dash” products at any participating Shoppers Drug Mart®/PharmaPrix store (each store a licensed operator of Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. or its affiliates, such stores, Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. and its affiliates collectively referred to as “Shoppers Drug Mart” or Pharmaprix) and complete the contest entry form, enter UPCs, and confirm compliance of the contest rules at www.dollanddash.com between April 24th and June 8th 2010 for a chance to win the Doll & Dash Prize detailed below.
“Doll & Dash” Participating Products: Herbal Essences, Olay, Venus, Perfect 10, CoverGirl, Pantene, Crest Whitestrips, Secret
Prize: From all eligible entries received, one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected and receive a trip for four (4) to the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. Grand Prize Winner must be available to travel on the Contest Sponsor selected dates. Grand Prize Winner and three(3) guests will receive: round trip coach airfare from the major Canadian commercial airport nearest the Grand Prize winner’s home (departure point), Ground transportation to and from the airport in Toronto, hotel accommodations for four (4) (based on two (2) standards rooms, double occupancy, room and taxes only) for two (2) nights at a hotel chosen by the Contest Sponsers, (4) make-up and hair stylist sessions by a professional artist, (4) VIP passes to the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards (date, time, location, and all other aspects of access to the MuchMusic Video Awards are to be determined solely by MuchMusic). Prize travel must be taken between the dates of June 19th 2010 and June 21, 2010 (subject to change depending on show date). Prize, flights dates, hotel accommodation are subject to change without notice or compensation Approximate retail value is $5900. CND. (depending on point of departure).
Winner and guests must depart from the same departure point and must travel together on the same itinerary. Prize consists solely of the items listed above. Winner and guests are responsible for all costs not expressly described herein, including without limitation, meals, beverages, applicable taxes, fuel/currency surcharges, ground transportation, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, insurance, together with any travel documentation, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature. In the event the Grand Prize Winner lives within driving distance of the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards, as determined by the Contest sponsor, the Grand Prize Winner and guests will still be eligible for two (2) nights hotel accommodation, and ground transportation will be offered in lieu of airfare, at the Contest Sponsor sole discretion. Winner is not entitled to any monetary difference between actual prize value and stated prize value, if any.
One (1) prize to be awarded nationally. Maximum one entry per person per day.
The sponsor of the contest reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value in the event that the prize described above is unavailable due to circumstances beyond their control.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter the contest without making a purchase, please go to www.dollanddash.com, complete entry form, confirm compliance of rules and click on the “UPC code generator button” to obtain UPC codes. Limit of one entry per day.
Chances of Winning:
The chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received between April 24th and June 8th 2010.
The Drawing:
Winner will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries received. The draw will be held at Cossette Toronto office on June 9th 2010 . All entries become the property of Cossette. A Cossette representative will notify selected entrant by phone within two (2) days of the draw date listed above. To be confirmed a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question to be administered by phone at a mutually convenient time and then sign a standard declaration/release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within two 2 business days, fails to correctly answer the mathematical skill testing question, or fails to meet or comply with all of the contest conditions, that individual will be disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the prize, and an alternate winner will be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries.
General Rules:
This contest is conducted by the Contest Sponsor and is open to all residents of Canada. Open to residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. Employees of Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix, the Associate/Owners of Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix stores, the employees of Procter and Gamble Inc., and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotional agencies, fulfillment house and members of their respective immediate families or those with whom they are domiciled are not permitted to enter the contest. All decisions of the judge(s) are final.
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. The contest may be cancelled at anytime with the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec.
This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void wherever prohibited by law.
Entries obtained through fraudulent means or in any way tampered with, forged, mutilated, illegible, incomplete or mechanically reproduced essays may, at the sole discretion of Cossette, be disqualified.
By entering the contest and/or accepting the prize, winner consents to the use of their name, voice and/or photograph in any publicity or advertisement carried out by Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix and on the list of winners without any further compensation. Winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration and Release within two (2) business days of its receipt or the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Winner’s guests will also be required to execute a release prior to departure. Winner may be required to be present for a ceremony to award the prize at a designated Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix store, on a mutually acceptable date. Prizes are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash or credit and must be accepted as awarded.
Winner, by acceptance of a prize agrees to release Procter & Gamble Inc. advertising, promotional agencies, promotional partners and fulfillment house (the “Releasees”) from any and all liability claims or actions of any kind whatsoever. All releases must be returned within three (3) business days of the date of the covering letter accompanying the release.
For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by September 14, 2009 to “ Doll & Dash” Cossette Communications 502 King St Toronto, Ontario M5V 1L7.
This contest closes at close of business or 11:59 p.m. on June 8th 2010
Procter & Gamble Inc. and their agents are not responsible for technical, computer, printing, distribution, or production errors and may terminate or withdraw any contest found to contain such errors without liability and without notice, at their sole discretion.
The Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, these rules, the selection and announcement of winner, or the distribution or redemption of any prize.
The Releasees (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize, (ii) disclaim any implied warranty, and (iii) are not liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize, travel related thereto or from participation in this contest.
